Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Social Media Manager to create, implement, and manage our social media and digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest. This role requires not only creative content creation but also a solid understanding of social media algorithms, SEO, and digital engagement strategies. You will play a key role in growing Sorted Collective’s online presence, building a strong community, and enhancing brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy: Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Sorted Collective’s brand and business goals, focusing on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Content Creation: Plan, create, and schedule high-quality, on-brand content (images, videos, graphics) for all social media channels, tailoring content to platform specifications.
Community Management: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, direct messages, and tagged content, fostering a supportive and responsive brand presence.
SEO & Analytics: Implement SEO techniques in content to increase visibility, and use social media analytics to track, measure, and report on performance. Adjust strategy based on insights and trends.
Collaborations: Work closely with the Sorted Collective team to showcase project highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, client transformations, and key brand milestones.
Platform Optimization: Stay up-to-date with social media algorithm changes and best practices, ensuring content is optimized for each platform to increase engagement and reach.
Trend Awareness: Identify emerging social media trends, especially in the home organization and lifestyle space, to keep Sorted Collective’s content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing social media across major platforms, ideally within the home organization, lifestyle, or design industries.
Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and engaging content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite) and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Familiarity with SEO principles as they apply to social media, understanding of keywords, hashtags, and platform-based searchability.
Strong understanding of social media analytics and data-driven strategies, with the ability to interpret data to guide content improvements.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative, self-driven, and adaptable to the evolving needs of a growing brand.
